LPN Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on nursing care under the supervision of RNs and facility leadership

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely

• Monitor and report changes in resident health status

• Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and support resident comfort

• Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality outcomes

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

• Participate in shift reports, ongoing education, and team meetings

• Foster a respectful and compassionate environment for residents and coworkers

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina

• At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or SNF setting

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with resident mobility

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

• Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus

• CPR certification preferred
