Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide high‑acuity cardiovascular stepdown care for structural heart, cardiac, and vascular surgical patients.
Manage patients requiring titration of inotropes, vasopressors, and advanced non‑invasive oxygen delivery.
Utilize bedside monitors equipped for advanced hemodynamic monitoring and electronic charting at point of care.
Collaborate closely with APPs, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and cardiovascular ICU partners.
Detect subtle clinical changes, escalate appropriately, and participate in rapid clinical decision‑making.
Participate in unit goals, quality initiatives, and personal professional growth planning.
Work onsite in a state‑of‑the‑art stepdown unit designed to mirror ICU workflow and support efficient care delivery.

Schedule:

Part‑time 24 hours/week
Days or Nights available (based on unit needs)
Onsite in Raleigh


Skills You Need

Active RN license in North Carolina
BLS certification
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
At least 1 year of nursing experience (stepdown, intermediate care, cardiac, ICU, or telemetry preferred)
Ability to recognize and respond to complex patient conditions
Strong clinical communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working in fast‑paced cardiac and surgical environments
