About The Unit

D2 is a 20‑bed inpatient overflow and clinical decision unit caring for mixed‑acuity patients, including medical‑surgical and step‑down level of care. The unit supports short‑stay patients (<24 hours), rapid turnover, and telemetry‑monitored patients. All telemetry patients are hardwired to bedside monitors.

• Hardwired telemetry monitoring
• Standard PCU/med‑surg equipment

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care RN to join the D2 Clinical Decision Unit. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast‑paced environments, enjoy teamwork, and are comfortable caring for mixed‑acuity patients with quick turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry‑monitored care for PCU and med‑surg patients
• Support rapid admissions, discharges, and short‑stay patient flow
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
• Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Telemetry competency
• Progressive Care experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent PCU experience
