Hello!

We are accepting nominations for the following positions on the NC ADN Executive Council:

President-Elect

The President-Elect is elected every odd year and serves a two-year term. At the end of the term, they will automatically step into the role of President.

Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly Executive Council meetings via Zoom
• Step in for the President when needed, whether due to absence or resignation.
• Assist the President with tasks as assigned.
• Plan and coordinate NCADN Council programs and activities.
• Send meeting notices to all associate degree nursing programs and relevant individuals.
• Continue serving as the chairperson of the Program Committee.

Secretary

The Secretary is elected every odd year and serves a two-year term.

Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly Executive Council meetings via Zoom
• Take Executive Council meeting minutes
• Handle necessary correspondence for the NCADN Council.
• Keep organized records of all meeting minutes, following Robert’s Rules of Order.
• Notify individuals of elections or committee appointments.
• Share copies of meeting minutes and correspondence with the President.
• Distribute NCADN Council meeting minutes to members within two months of each meeting.
• Provide Executive Committee members with meeting minutes within two weeks.
• Lead the Technology Committee, overseeing website and social media management.

Parliamentarian

The Parliamentarian is elected every odd year and serves a two-year term.

Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly Executive Council meetings via Zoom.
• Collects abstracts for poster presentations at the conference.
• Support the presiding officer with parliamentary procedures.
• Bring copies of the NCADN Council By-Laws and Robert’s Rules of Order to each meeting.
• Lead the By-Laws Committee as its chairperson.
